Chartered Accountant – Direct Tax

White & Brief, Advocates & Solicitors is looking to hire a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in Direct Tax. The candidate should have hands-on experience in audit, accounting and income tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle direct tax compliances, including TDS calculations, payments, returns and Income Tax Return (ITR) filings.
• Manage books of accounts, accounting entries, reconciliations and financial records.
• Assist with internal, statutory and tax audits, including preparation and verification of supporting documents.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory forms in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Review financial statements, identify discrepancies and support their timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits, assessments and tax compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on accounting, audit and taxation matters.
• Stay updated on changes in direct tax laws and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in Direct Tax, accounting and audit.
• Practical knowledge of income tax provisions, TDS compliance and ITR filings.
• Experience in maintaining books of accounts, reconciliations and audit documentation.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹53,000.00 per month
