Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counselor for a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi. The Academic Counselor will provide guidance and support to students, helping them identify and achieve their educational and career goals. Key responsibilities include conducting career counseling sessions, offering academic advising, and engaging in one-on-one student counseling to address their educational needs and challenges. The Academic Counselor will also collaborate with the educational team to enhance student experiences and outcomes. Qualifications Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling practices Strong Communication skills to engage effectively with students and stakeholders Experience in Academic Advising to provide academic guidance and support Background in Education with a focus on student development and learning Ability to work closely with a diverse student population and provide personalized programs Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Psychology, or related field Prior experience in a counseling or advising role is advantageous Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in student growth and development
