You are the chosen one if: ✅ You have 25+ years of experience. You’ve survived the Flash era, the Skeuomorphic era, and the Flat Design era. You are still standing. ✅ You have nerves of steel. You don't panic when Photoshop crashes; you just stare at the screen in disappointed silence. ✅ You speak "Client." You have mastered the art of polite pushback when someone asks to make the white space "more colorful." ✅ You remember the ancient tools. You might have started on QuarkXPress or CorelDRAW 3.0. You know the struggle of burning files onto a CD to send to print. The Role: Leading high-level design projects (no grunt work). Mentoring the juniors (telling them stories of the "old days").
