Core Responsibilities Analyze requirements, define test scenarios, and develop comprehensive test cases and test plans. Perform manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications for functional, regression, and exploratory tests. Design and develop automation test scripts and frameworks for UI and API testing. Execute test scripts and analyze results, ensuring accurate defect reporting and tracking. Work closely with developers and product managers in Agile teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines and maintain test environments. Continuously improve test coverage and efficiency by identifying opportunities to automate. Contribute to test documentation, knowledge base, and QA process improvements. Provide mentoring or guidance to junior QA engineers as needed. Skills And Requirements Strong hands-on experience with both manual testing techniques and automation testing tools. Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI. Programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience in working in Agile/Scrum environments. Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience in writing SQL queries for data validation. Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) Experience We are seeking an experienced Software tester with 5 to 7 yrs for our testing team.
