Job Title: Accountant Location: Thirunagar, Head Office – CDR Infracon Limited Department: Accounts Reports to: Finance Manager Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor ledgers in the accounting system. Handle vendor payments by preparing payment vouchers, ensuring approvals, and timely disbursement. Perform reconciliation of vendor accounts on a regular basis. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes . Calculate and deduct TDS as per the latest slabs and file returns within due dates. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and reconcile with purchase registers. Assist in month-end and year-end closing of accounts, ensuring proper documentation and schedules. Coordinate with vendors regarding payment queries, reconciliation, and tax compliance. Support statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits with necessary reports and documents. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial data. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Finalization of Accounts . In-depth knowledge of GST laws and compliances . Good understanding of TDS provisions and deduction slabs. Proficiency in Tally ERP/ERP Accounting Software and MS Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills. Attention to detail with high accuracy. Good communication and vendor management skills. Qualifications & Experience: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction/infrastructure industry. Hands-on experience in vendor accounts, GST, and TDS compliance . Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Work Location: In person
