Position Overview: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of machinery and equipment within our facility. Your role involves conducting regular maintenance, diagnosing faults, implementing repairs, and collaborating with various departments to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues, implementing effective solutions promptly. System Upgrades: Manage the installation of new machinery and oversee upgrades to existing systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and upgrades, to track performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. Safety Compliance: Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure maintenance activities support overall operational goals and enhance efficiency. Inventory Management: Manage spare parts inventory, ordering necessary replacements, and ensuring availability to minimize downtime. Training & Supervision: Provide training to junior staff on maintenance best practices and supervise their activities to ensure adherence to standards. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field. Technical Proficiency: Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and diagnostic tools. Certifications: Professional certification in Maintenance Engineering is desirable.
