Cashier

Cash Handling:

• Accurately process customer payments through cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
• Provide accurate change and receipts for customers, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently.
• Manage and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring the correct amount of cash is available.

Customer Service:

• Greet customers with a friendly, professional demeanor and assist them with any inquiries.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a polite and professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area to ensure an inviting and efficient checkout process.

Point of Sale (POS) System:

• Operate POS terminals and ensure proper processing of sales transactions.
• Ensure items are scanned or entered correctly in the POS system, including applying discounts, coupons, and promotions.
• Ensure all sales are accurately recorded and any discrepancies are reported promptly.

Inventory Support:

• Assist with restocking merchandise as needed.
• Ensure shelves or displays near the cashier area are tidy and organized.

Security & Compliance:

• Follow company policies regarding cash handling, refunds, and discounts.
• Ensure all transactions comply with company security protocols to prevent theft or fraud.
• Report any suspicious activity to store management.

Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of daily cash reports or cash count reconciliation.
• Provide support to store management with other clerical tasks as needed.

Pay: ₹8,186.27 - ₹25,978.47 per month
