Job Description

An Automotive Sales Driver typically delivers vehicles to customers and provides them with a positive experience, including explaining vehicle features and paperwork. They also focus on building customer relationships and generating repeat business. This role often involves sales support activities like demonstrating vehicles, conducting test drives, and following up with customers after purchase. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Delivery and Setup: Delivering vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand how to operate the vehicle's features, warranty information, and paperwork. Customer Orientation: Introducing customers to dealership personnel, including service department staff, and scheduling initial service appointments. Post-Delivery Follow-up: Addressing any post-delivery items, such as paperwork, "we-owes," and special requests, to ensure customer satisfaction. Relationship Building: Maintaining a system for owner follow-up to encourage repeat and referral business. Sales Support: Demonstrating vehicle features, conducting test drives, and assisting with sales paperwork and financing. Prospecting: Following up with potential customers and generating new leads. Collaboration: Working with the service and body shop departments to ensure vehicles are properly reconditioned. Sales Meetings: Attending sales meetings and staying updated on product knowledge and market trends. General Dealership Support: Helping with used-vehicle inspections and maintaining a clean and organized sales environment.
