Job Title Church Video Editor and Media Associate Role Overview The Church Video Editor and Media Associate will be responsible for creating engaging video content for the church across digital platforms. The primary focus will be short form video content, with occasional long form videos. The role also includes filming church events and services when required. Key Responsibilities Edit short form videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube Shorts and similar channels. Edit long form videos including sermons, teachings, testimonies and special programmes when required. Add titles, lower thirds and on screen text to videos in a clear and visually appealing manner. Create accurate and well timed subtitles and captions. Design attractive and relevant thumbnails for video content. Ensure videos align with the church’s vision, tone and branding. Collaborate with church leadership and media teams to plan and execute content ideas. Shoot videos during church services, events, interviews and special programmes when needed. Manage basic organisation of video files and project timelines. Required Skills and Experience Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools for thumbnails and titles. Understanding of short form content trends and audience engagement. Ability to frame and shoot videos with proper composition, lighting and audio awareness. Attention to detail, especially with subtitles and timing. Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Prior experience with church or ministry media is preferred but not mandatory. Personal Attributes A heart for church ministry and its mission.
