Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dehradun for an Admission Counselor. The Admission Counselor will engage with prospective students and their families, providing tailored guidance on college and course selection. Key responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, answering inquiries, analyzing students' academic interests and career aspirations, and offering recommendations on higher education paths. Additionally, the role involves managing applications, ensuring a smooth admission process, and maintaining strong communication and relationships with educational institutions. Qualifications Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple inquiries and workflows Expertise in counseling and guiding students in selecting appropriate courses and institutions Proficiency in data management, report generation, and use of digital tools or platforms Empathy, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs A bachelor’s degree in any field. Previous experience in education counseling, admissions, or academic advising is advantageous Knowledge of higher education systems in India and effective mentoring techniques
