CAD Software Engineer

Essential Functions:

• 
  CollCollaborates with CAD Software Manager to complete software development assignments.
• Designs and architects software components using various software technologies such as OpenGL/DirectX, NVidia CUDA, and cloud computing.
• Designs and develops software components using primarily C++; may employ Python.
• Ensures consistency, accuracy, and compliance with required standard.
• Interacts with internal and external customers to understand and clarify customer needs.
• Provides technical support and consultation to staff and customers.
• Troubleshoots, tests, and analyzes complex issues and problems; determines solution.
• Researches new technology and trends in computational geometry and visualization.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years programming experience using C/C++.
• Strong background in Mathematics, Computational Geometry, or Computer Graphics required.
• Expertise in Visual Studio and source control required.
• Experience writing CAD software required.
• Experience with dental CAD software a plus.
