Cabinet Vision Designer/Production Engineer

As a Modular Product Development Engineer at Fine Modular Systems LLP in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed 2D production drawings for a range of modular interior components such as kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, and other furniture components. Your responsibilities will include developing accurate production drawings, issuing shop drawings for manufacturing, and collaborating with design, production, and installation teams to ensure project execution is seamless. Key Responsibilities: - Develop precise 2D production drawings for modular furniture components, adhering to design specifications. - Coordinate with the production team by issuing final shop drawings and cutting lists for manufacturing. - Collaborate closely with various teams to facilitate the smooth execution of projects. - Optimize designs to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce material wastage, and minimize production time. - Manage a library of modular product designs and specifications, ensuring they are updated regularly. - Conduct quality checks on drawings before sending them for production. - Assist in creating new modular products and customization options based on market trends and client needs. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory, experience with software like SketchUp or SolidWorks is a plus. - Strong knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing processes, materials, hardware, joinery techniques, and production methods. - Ability to interpret architectural drawings accurately and convert them into detailed production specifications. - Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication for seamless coordination with different departments.
