Frontend Engineer – DeFi (Remote India/Dubai) - $60K - $85K USD Our client is a leading DeFi startup building a derivatives platform that makes decentralized finance more fair, accessible, and efficient. Backed by top investors, they offer a seamless trading experience across 70+ markets with deep liquidity, instant execution, and up to 25x leverage. As a frontend engineer, you’ll be responsible for building performant, user-centric applications that interact directly with Ethereum and the broader DeFi ecosystem. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver an exceptional trading experience and help shape the next phase of the company’s growth. What you’ll do: Design and develop frontend applications with a focus on performance and accessibility Implement UI from design mocks and ensure seamless integrations with backend and blockchain components Mentor junior developers and maintain best practices through code reviews Contribute to product direction and new feature development What we’re looking for: 4+ years of frontend development experience (Svelte, React, or Vue.js) Strong track record of building high-quality products at top companies or startups High standards for clean, tested, and secure code Genuine interest in crypto and DeFi Nice to have: Experience in fintech, security, or web3 startups Knowledge of ethers.js/web3.js and TypeScript Familiarity with DeFi protocols (DEXs, lending, perps, etc.) Contributions to open-source blockchain/DeFi projects Why join: Competitive compensation (with the option for crypto payments) Unlimited paid leave & flexible, async remote work Bi-annual team retreats (all expenses covered) Opportunity to make a real impact in the fast-evolving DeFi space
