We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Engineer with hands-on expertise in procurement, inventory management, and vendor coordination within an engineering or manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless material flow, cost optimization, and timely availability of components to support production and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Purchase Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for engineering components and materials. Manage RFQs, quotations, negotiation, and purchase order processing. Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of quality materials. Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to align sourcing requirements. Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Inventory & Material Management Oversee end-to-end inventory control, including stock monitoring and replenishment. Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. Coordinate with stores and production teams for material issuance and reconciliation. Implement FIFO/ABC analysis and other inventory optimization techniques. Vendor & Logistics Coordination Manage vendor relationships, conduct periodic performance reviews, and resolve supply issues. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for smooth material flow. Ensure proper documentation, GRN, and compliance with company procedures. Data & Reporting Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, inventory, and supplier data. Prepare regular MIS reports for purchase, consumption, and inventory trends. Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of supply chain operations in manufacturing or engineering industry. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally ERP preferred). Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively. Understanding of material planning, vendor development, and quality assurance processes
