We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Assistant to support the sales efforts in South Asia. Reporting to the country manager, you will assist with acquiring new clients, including merchants, strategic partners, and other business opportunities that contribute to the company's growth. This entry-level role will provide you with hands-on experience in sales, client relationship management, and partnership development, while working closely with the sales team to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition Support: Assist in the identification, outreach, and onboarding of new merchants and partners in [Country], supporting the sales team in expanding the company’s client base. Lead Generation & Outreach: Help generate new leads by researching and reaching out to potential clients, including merchants and partners. Assist in managing the initial stages of the sales pipeline. Sales Presentation & Meetings: Support in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and materials for client meetings, and assist in organizing meetings or calls with potential clients. Partnership Development: Assist in building and nurturing relationships with key business partners, ensuring that each interaction aligns with the company’s objectives and offers mutual value. Client Onboarding: Help guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand the products or services, and assist in addressing any inquiries to ensure smooth integration. Market Research & Insights: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, competitor activities, and industry trends. Share relevant insights with the sales team to refine acquisition strategies. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the sales team, such as managing client records, scheduling meetings, tracking client communication, and preparing reports as instructed by the country manager. Event Support: Assist in the organization and coordination of events, such as merchant meetups or partnership conferences, that contribute to client acquisition efforts. Qualifications: Some experience or internship in sales, client acquisition, or business development, with an interest in building relationships and growing partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Handle Law Enforcement Requests: Manage and respond to queries, notices, and production orders from Indian Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND) in a timely and compliant manner. Maintain Regulatory Documentation: Maintain internal trackers, correspondence logs, and supporting documentation related to regulator and enforcement actions, ensuring full auditability. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal legal, tech, risk, and operations teams to prepare responses that are aligned with applicable legal and technical standards. Support Internal Compliance Audits: Assist in the execution of periodic internal audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of the AML/CFT control environment. Assist in Reporting: Help in compiling and submitting periodic reports and responses to regulatory authorities, including STR filings and LEA compliance updates. Compliance Monitoring: Participate in the monitoring of Bybit's ongoing obligations under Indian VDA regulations, with a focus on early detection of compliance risks. Policy & Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous enhancement of compliance procedures and risk mitigation strategies based on learnings from ongoing operations. Requirements: Experience: 2-4 years in a compliance, AML, or regulatory liaison role-preferably within a crypto exchange, fintech, or financial services firm. Legal & Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, especially in its application to Virtual Digital Asset Service Providers (VDASPs). Regulatory Handling Experience: Prior exposure to handling FIU-IND submissions, LEA notices, and regulatory queries is a major advantage. Crypto Sector Familiarity: Knowledge of Virtual Digital Assets (VDAs), including how crypto exchanges operate and the specific regulatory expectations they face. Tech Coordination Skills: Basic understanding of how user data flows through applications, including familiarity with API integrations, wallet tracing, or log management, to work effectively with engineering teams. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with attention to detail in drafting responses and documenting processes. Compliance Mindset: Proactive, discreet, and capable of managing confidential matters responsibly and with a problem-solving attitude.
