ROLE OVERVIEW As a DeFi Strategy & Research Analyst , you will leverage your deep understanding of decentralized finance to guide BVR Cloud’s global FinOps advisory and product teams. Focusing on protocols popular in India—such as Ethereum, Polygon, and emerging L2s—you’ll develop insights on staking, liquidity farming, and yield optimization to support enterprise clients worldwide. RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of DeFi protocols, AMM pools, and yield strategies—emphasizing use cases and ROI scenarios relevant to Indian markets • Build and maintain financial models and dashboards (TVL, APRs, impermanent loss metrics) using tools like Python, SQL, and Dune Analytics • Publish fortnightly research reports, whitepapers, and client presentations highlighting trends in NFT collateralization, yield aggregators, and cross-chain bridges • Partner with Solutions Architects and DevOps teams to incorporate DeFi insights into BVR Cloud services—helping Indian enterprises optimize gas fees and validator economics • Track governance forums, proposal outcomes, and DAO grants; advise on participation strategies, especially for Asia-focused ecosystems • Host webinars and internal workshops timed for IST to share best practices in DeFi risk management and yield farming MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS • 3+ years in financial research, analytics, or strategy roles with direct exposure to DeFi or fintech, including India-specific protocols and platforms • Hands-on experience with on-chain data tools (Dune, Nansen, DefiLlama) and scripting (Python, SQL) • Strong understanding of AMMs, lending protocols, staking mechanisms, and governance frameworks • Proven track record in building financial models, valuation frameworks, and scenario analyses • Active engagement in DeFi—personal staking, yield farming, or governance participation (share public on-chain address) NICE TO HAVE • Experience with India-centric DeFi platforms (Polygon, BNB Chain) and regulatory compliance for digital assets in the Indian market • Published articles or talks on DeFi use cases in Asia or India • Familiarity with local payment gateways for Fiat-to-Crypto onramps WHAT WE OFFER • Compensation: USD 90,000 – 120,000 per year (INR equivalent available) + performance-based bonus (optional payout in USDC, stETH, or partner tokens) • Equity: stock options in BVR Cloud, with tokenized vesting paths • Infra & Research Credits: BVR Cloud credits for personal experiments and data platform subscriptions • Work Setup: fully remote with IST-friendly hours and annual global summits in Los Angeles or Sheridan • Equipment & Tools: stipend for analysis workstation and collaboration hardware • Growth: dedicated learning budget and sponsorship for India-based blockchain conferences • Benefits: health insurance stipend (India local options) and flexible time off HOW TO APPLY Attach your CV and a brief summary of your most impactful DeFi strategy in the Indian market Include a public on-chain address that demonstrates your DeFi participation Share links to your research dashboards, reports, or community contributions We respond to every applicant within 7 days .
