About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Manager/Director of Ad Sales to lead our advertising strategy and execution. In this senior leadership role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive advertising sales strategies, oversee the team, and establish strategic partnerships with high-value clients to drive significant revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital advertising leadership, exceptional sales/business development abilities, and a proven history of building and scaling successful ad monetisation strategies across digital platforms. What You'll do: Sales Strategy: Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive advertising sales strategies aligned with company vision and long-term revenue objectives. Client Acquisition & Management: Identify strategic business opportunities, direct acquisition of major clients, and establish executive-level relationships. Build and maintain long-term partnerships with top-tier advertisers and media agencies. Market Analysis: Lead intelligence gathering on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making and provide critical input for product and service development. Campaign Management: Oversee the development of tailored enterprise advertising solutions and ensure successful execution of high-value ad campaigns across the client portfolio. Revenue Growth: Drive overall company revenue by establishing strategic account planning processes, identifying upselling opportunities with existing clients, and creating innovative revenue streams. Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership across marketing, operations, product, and finance teams to optimise advertising solutions and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Reporting: Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and client feedback for C-suite and board presentations, driving data-informed strategic decisions. Budget & Forecasting: Manage departmental budget, develop accurate revenue forecasts, and create strategic growth plans for presentation to executive leadership. Sales Operations Optimisation: Design and implement scalable sales processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements: 1. 4- 10 years of experience in advertising sales with a strong record of exceeding revenue targets. 2. Skilled in strategic sales planning, negotiation, and relationship-building with senior executives at brands and agencies. 3. Deep expertise in digital advertising platforms, including programmatic, native, and emerging formats, along with media planning tools and ad tech platforms. 4. Proficient in sales analytics and performance reporting to drive data-informed decisions. 5. Excellent communication and presentation skills for both client engagement and internal leadership. 6. Background in both agency and publisher/platform environments; MBA or relevant degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 7.
