Business Analyst -Market Risk

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with Market Risk & Treasury stakeholders, developers, testers, and product owners.
• Understand reporting tools and applications, business processes, system interfaces, and data flows.
• Facilitate requirement workshops and backlog-refinement sessions.
• Identify and communicate risks, gaps, impacts, and dependencies.
• Support Agile ceremonies and help prioritise the product backlog.

Required Skills and Experience

• 812 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Understanding of capital market and banking domain.
• Strong knowledge of Market Risk concepts, processes, and reporting.
• Good understanding of risk data, positions, exposures, limits, sensitivities, stress testing, and Value at Risk.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile delivery practices.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
• Experience with Rally, and Confluence would be an advantage.
• Experience supporting regulatory changes, application modernisation, production issues would be beneficial.
• Professional who can act as a bridge the gap between risk, technology, and business, with strong understanding of financial products, risk framework and regulatory requirements.

The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively across business, technology, testing, and vendor teams.
