Building Simulation Engineer

Role Overview: AIIR Products is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their Intelligent HVAC Systems engineering and product development team. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and commercializing purpose-built HVAC systems using advanced machine learning technology. Key Responsibilities: - Support the design and development of electronic control hardware for HVAC systems - Prepare schematics, layout electronic circuit boards, and manage parts library for new product development and design changes - Review component specifications and select appropriate hardware components - Identify alternative components for EOL/NRND and cost reduction - Modify electronic circuit boards, including soldering components, to evaluate functionality and support prototype board development - Perform root cause analysis, revise designs, and support product sustaining engineering activities - Build prototypes, test, and troubleshoot electronic hardware, HVAC system components, and instruments - Utilize electrical test equipment to analyze and troubleshoot electrical issues at board and system levels - Ensure comprehensive documentation of all designs, tests, and development activities - Develop necessary procedures and manuals Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering - Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable relevant experience - Proficiency in preparing schematics, printed circuit board design, layout, and components selection - Experience with electronic CAD tools, preferably KiCad and OrCAD/Cadence - Hands-on experience in a lab environment with PCB repair, modifications, troubleshooting, and testing of electronic components and systems - Knowledge and ability to use basic EE tools such as Oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Signal Generators, etc. - Proficiency in soldering and modifying PCBs as needed - Understanding of technologies like BLE, Wi-Fi, power management, sensor control, USB, UART, I2C, and various bus communication technologies is desired Additional Company Details: AIIR Products is committed to creating healthier and more comfortable living spaces through smart technology.
