As a Mechanical Engineer at the company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Drawing of 2D and 3D models - Drafting - Preparation of production and fabrication documents - Prototype preparation and verification - Performing ingress, strength, impact resistance testing as per procedures - Technology explorations Qualifications required for this position: - B.Tech/ M.Tech (Mechanical) - Male candidates with B.Tech/ M.Tech (Mechanical) qualification - Year of Passing: 2018, 2019, 2020 - Ready to sign a 2.5 years service agreement with the company - Freshers are preferred If you have any queries, please reach out to hr@efftronics.com. In addition to the above responsibilities, you are expected to: - Understand the design requirements - Maintain and define library symbols and footprints as per electrical engineering guidelines - Prepare detailed layouts of the printed circuit board and establish all electrical functionality - Generate assembly drawings and prepare parts list - Generate and check all output files for the complete fabrication of the printed circuit board including Gerber files, IPC netlist, drill files, etc. - Interface with PCB manufacturers to resolve any problems related to design - Interface with mechanical and electrical engineering to establish physical and electrical parameters to meet packaging requirements - Review electronic schematic data for initial appraisal of proposed design and estimate hours to completion - Review all support documentation and proposed changes to PC boards - Prepare mechanical layouts as required to establish design concepts related to PC board layouts, fabrication, and assembly documentation - Resolve technical issues related to PCB design and assist design group with solutions - Have knowledge about analog/digital circuits and devices - Understand PCB fabrication and PCB assembling process - Have knowledge of Printed Circuit Board layout tools such as Altium/Cadence OrCAD, Cadence Allegro, and/or PADS - Know MIL/IPC Standards for Library parts, Printed Circuit Design, and Manufacturing - Be familiar with multi-layer boards, high-density interconnects, and fine-pitch parts - Understand RF circuit and high-speed digital circuit routing and layout requirements - Know part placement concepts and routing techniques for signal integrity and EMI - Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple technical teams - Be able to deliver results on time with high quality - Have the aptitude to independently learn new circuit designs and concepts,
