Job Summary The Last Mile Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the last mile delivery process, ensuring seamless, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods to customers. This role involves overseeing delivery teams, optimizing logistics, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to improve operational efficiency. Delivery Operations Management : Oversee daily last mile delivery operations, including route planning, dispatching, and tracking deliveries to ensure on-time performance. Team Leadership : Manage, train, and motivate a team of delivery drivers, couriers, and support staff, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards. Process Optimization : Analyze delivery data and metrics to identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and reduce delivery costs. Customer Experience : Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing delivery issues, managing escalations, and maintaining clear communication with customers. Vendor Coordination : Collaborate with third-party logistics providers, warehouses, and transportation partners to align on delivery schedules and expectations. Technology Utilization : Leverage delivery management software, GPS tracking, and other tools to monitor performance and streamline operations. Compliance and Safety : Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and safety standards for drivers and vehicles. Budget Management : Monitor and control operational costs, including fuel, labor, and vehicle maintenance, to meet financial targets. Reporting and Analytics : Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, success rates, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
