About Us Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) is a Registered Charitable Trust (1138/94-95) of the Don Bosco network in Karnataka and Kerala States. With more than 32 years of experience and implementing 625+ projects, BREADS has impacted the development of more than 10,00,000 marginalised children, women and youth through its 48 Don Bosco and other partners, especially in rural and underserved locations. BREADS is part of an international network of Don Bosco organisations working in 136 countries across the globe. Our initiatives across the two states are focused on promoting the rights of vulnerable and rural children and youth through awareness, activism and systemic change. We are looking for staff in Bangalore for MINDS, our Mental Health Education project focused on creating awareness about mental health issues, promoting well-being, and providing psychosocial support to children and communities, particularly within school settings. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute mental health education programs. Engage actively with schools, teachers, and community stakeholders. Identify and support vulnerable children facing mental health challenges. Collaborate with mental health professionals, government bodies, and NGOs. Organize and conduct community awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote mental health literacy. Qualifications and Requirements: Degree in Psychology (Master’s degree preferred). At least 1 year of experience in mental health education or community-based work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Kannada (mandatory). Passion for child welfare and mental health advocacy.
