We work closely with manufacturing clients to improve productivity, quality, and process efficiency through technically sound tooling solutions. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Tooling Engineer located in Kolkata, west Bengal. Promote and sell Walter cutting tools and machining solutions to existing and new customers Provide technical application support at customer shop floors Analyze machining processes and recommend optimized tooling solutions Conduct tool trials, process improvements, and productivity studies Coordinate with customers to resolve tooling-related issues and ensure satisfaction Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and solution reports Qualifications 1. Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering fields. 2. Minimum 2 years of experience in tooling, machining applications, or technical sales. 3. Experience with CNC machines and industrial manufacturing environments preferred. Key Skills Strong knowledge of cutting tools (turning, milling, drilling, threading) Good understanding of CNC machining processes Ability to analyze machining problems and propose effective solutions Technical sales and customer-handling skills Basic knowledge of cutting parameters, tool selection, and materials Good communication and presentation skills Willingness to travel to customer locations
