Position Summary The Senior Innovative Curriculum Lead is responsible for driving curriculum vision, design, and implementation across all K12 grade levels. This role blends educational leadership with creativity, ensuring that the curriculum is rigorous, inclusive, and future-ready. The leader will champion innovative teaching methods, integrate technology, and align learning experiences with educating for peace while maintaining alignment to local, national, and international academic standards. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Leadership Innovation Lead the design, review, and enhancement of K12 curriculum, ensuring alignment with academic standards, school mission, and global best practices. Research and integrate emerging trends in education, including project-based learning, inquiry-driven approaches, STEAM, design thinking, and interdisciplinary learning. Drive innovation in pedagogy, integrating digital tools, blended learning, and experiential education models. Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum for smooth progression across grade levels. Professional Development Coaching Mentor and coach faculty to adopt innovative, student-centered teaching methods. Design and deliver ongoing professional learning sessions, workshops, and collaborative planning structures. Support teachers in using data-driven instruction to personalize learning experiences. Assessment Evaluation Develop and oversee comprehensive assessment systems that include formative, summative, performance-based, and portfolio assessments. Collaborate with teachers to ensure assessments align with curriculum goals and support differentiated learning needs. Collaboration Leadership Work closely with school leadership, department heads, and grade-level coordinators to ensure curricular consistency and innovation. Lead curriculum review committees and innovation task forces. Build partnerships with external educational organizations and experts to bring global perspectives into the classroom. Student-Centered Focus Ensure curriculum fosters creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication. Embed opportunities for service learning, sustainability education, cultural literacy, and social-emotional learning. Qualifications Experience Masters degree in Education, Curriculum Instruction, Educational Leadership, or related field (Ph.D. preferred). Minimum 8-10 years of teaching experience, with at least 4-5 years in a curriculum leadership role. Proven record of implementing innovative, impactful instructional strategies in a K12 setting. Strong understanding of global curriculum frameworks (e.g., IB, Montessori, Cambridge, Common Core, national boards). Experience with educational technology integration and digital learning platforms. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
