As a Lead Angular Engineer at our organization, you will be an integral part of our modernization and digital transformation endeavors. Your primary responsibility will involve developing a new Angular Single Page Application (SPA) by replicating and enhancing functionalities from existing legacy .NET or Java Server-Side Rendered (SSR) applications. To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of modern web development principles, performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and advanced front-end development practices. Your key responsibilities will include architecting, designing, and implementing a robust Angular-based SPA that accurately replicates functionalities from legacy applications. You will be required to develop modular, maintainable, and efficient Angular components and services while ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness across modern browsers. Integration with RESTful APIs, implementation of asynchronous data handling using RxJS, and creation of comprehensive tests will also be part of your duties. Collaboration with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams will be essential to ensure cohesive integration and exceptional user experiences. Active participation in agile methodologies, staying updated with emerging technologies, and continuous enhancement of application quality will also be expected from you. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building and deploying Angular applications, preferably Angular 10 or newer, is required. Proven experience in migrating legacy .NET or Java SSR applications to modern Angular-based SPAs, extensive knowledge of web technologies, and solid experience with state management solutions are also prerequisites. Your skills and competencies should include expertise in the Angular framework and associated ecosystems, advanced proficiency in HTML/CSS, familiarity with web accessibility standards, and strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. Additionally, your problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be crucial for successful collaboration within agile teams.
