Love everything they served- even the desserts! Their fish selections were fresh and flavorful. Their chef is excellent, the cuts were clean. Most of their sushi already has wasabi included in between the rice and meat, so that’s something to note. But overall, I really love the food and ambience.

We had a course meal, and it was fantastic. I especially liked the dessert that was served at the end. The atmosphere was also nice. One thing I didn’t like was that it was hard to find parking, but that’s understandable since it’s in D.C. I recommend reserving a parking spot in advance.

The 2/3 different types of sushi we had were good. There aren’t too many options in the rolls but the quality of fish was good. We ate at the happy hour so the prices seemed okay. It’s on the pricier side.

Food was good in general’ I guess we came with higher expectations! The Sukiyaki was way too sweet! Hamachi appetizers and the sushi and Wagyu were great!

Sushi Taro is one the best sushi restaurants I have ever been! I like it better than a lot of the top sushi restaurants in New York. Always incredibly fresh, great use of seasonal ingredients, absolutely delicious and beautiful plating. The staff here are very friendly as well. It’s a must visit every time I’m in DC.

Happy hour deal is AMAZING! Be sure to get there early! The sushi is top notch and the service is great (as expected from this Michelin Star restaurant!). Sake is good quality as well. Loved the MD Crab Roll!
