Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead the end-to-end architecture of web and blockchain-based systems. Make informed decisions on technology stack, design patterns, and frameworks. Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high engineering standards. Guide and mentor developers through technical challenges and career growth. Web Application Development Design and build scalable, secure, high-availability web applications. Work with modern frontend and backend frameworks. Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability. Implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services. Blockchain & Payment Systems Design and integrate blockchain-based payment rails. Work with smart contracts , wallets, and transaction processing systems. Handle on-chain and off-chain interactions. Ensure security of transactions, private keys, and sensitive data. Integrate with third-party payment providers and blockchain networks. Security & Compliance Implement security best practices for financial and blockchain systems. Conduct threat modeling and code-level security reviews. Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, data protection laws). Manage encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Collaboration & Delivery Collaborate with product managers and founders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure timely delivery of features with high quality. Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications Core Experience 8+ years of professional software development experience. Strong experience in web application development, and capability to learn new domains and lead entire products. Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies and payment systems. Technical Skills Backend: Python, golang, nodejs or similar Frontend: React, Angular, or Vue.js Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis APIs: REST, GraphQL Cloud: AWS, GCP, or Azure DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines Blockchain & Payments Experience with Ethereum / EVM-compatible chains , or similar. Smart contracts (Solidity or equivalent). Wallet integrations and transaction lifecycle. Understanding of gas fees, confirmations, and blockchain security. Payment flows, settlements, and reconciliation. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to balance hands-on coding with leadership. Ownership mindset and attention to detail. Preferred / Nice to Have Experience with DeFi, crypto wallets, or exchanges. Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions or cross-chain bridges. Experience with high-volume transaction systems. Exposure to fintech regulations and compliance.
