The Role - Digital Product Designer We're looking for a mid-level Digital Product Designer to join our design team. As a Digital Product Designer at Everest Engineering, youll be working closely with our Product and Engineering teams to craft functional and beautiful experiences. You, being a core member of the team, will contribute to the most imperative parts of the design development process at Everest Engineering, which includes understanding the brand of the clients, explore brand opportunities, design detailed high-fidelity interfaces, collaborating with the Engineering team to ensure high quality implementation for shipping a product that meets all requirements. Core Responsibilities - Provide scope and estimates for incoming projects. Work with a multidisciplinary team on a daily basis including product managers, software engineers, and product designers. Identification, synthesis, and articulation of client requirements. ¢ Articulate design rationale to members of the team. ¢ Participate with peers on the design team to ensure designs are conceptually sound and fit into the bigger picture. ¢ Help build a cohesive design system.Approach ¢ Receptive to design critique to help constantly refine our work. ¢ Champion for inclusivity and accessibility in everything we ship. ¢ Advocate best practices to improve multidisciplinary collaboration. ¢ Push the teams creative, visual, and interactive design capabilities. - Active critical thinking and ability to follow through questions in search of solutions. - Play as a team member and cover for one another in times of need Do you have what it takes? Experience and track record are more relevant than specific education, we would love to meet applicants from diverse backgrounds.¢ Three years of experience designing products. ¢ Shipping applications on web and mobile platforms. ¢ Passionate about creating products that resonate emotionally with the users. ¢ A keen eye for visual UI details. ¢ Thorough with principles of graphic design. ¢ At ease with working on illustrations. ¢ A strong portfolio of past work, which includes detailed mockups, interactive prototypes and released applications. ¢ Experienced with complex consumer projects and software development, within design teams in a creative industry.
