Billing Engineer

Job Title: Billing & Purchase Engineer

• Prepare and verify

  contractor/vendor bills, RA bills, work orders and measurement sheets

  .
• Check quantities, rates, BOQ items and supporting documents before processing bills.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors and project teams for billing-related requirements.
• Prepare

  client billing, subcontractor billing and reconciliation statements

  .
• Monitor project quantities, material consumption and work progress for billing purposes.
• Handle

  material procurement and purchase activities

  as per project requirements.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and negotiate rates, terms and delivery schedules.
• Prepare

  Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders and comparative statements

  .
• Coordinate with vendors regarding material availability, delivery and quality.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, invoices and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with the site team to ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders, delivery challans and received quantities.
• Track pending purchases, deliveries and payments.
• Maintain proper documentation and MIS reports related to billing and purchase.
• Support the Project Manager/Management in

  cost control and procurement planning

  .

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of

  construction billing, BOQ and quantity measurement

  .
• Knowledge of

  purchase/procurement processes and vendor management

  .
• Good command of

  MS Excel

  .
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, BOQs and specifications.
• Good documentation and analytical skills.
