Big Data Lead

As a Big Data Lead with 7-12 years of experience, your role will involve software development using multiple computing languages. You will work on distributed data processing systems and applications, specifically in Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse (BIDW) programs. Previous experience in development through testing, preferably on the J2EE stack is essential for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your knowledge and understanding of best practices and concepts in Data Warehouse Applications. - Possess a strong foundation in distributed systems and computing systems, with hands-on engineering skills. - Hands-on experience with technologies such as Spark, Scala, Kafka, Hadoop, Hbase, Pig, and Hive. - Understand NoSQL data stores, data modeling, and data management. - Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills, along with excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills. - Experience with Data Lake implementation as an alternative to Data Warehouse is preferred. - Hands-on experience with Data frames using Spark SQL and proficiency in SQL. - Minimum of 2 end-to-end implementations in either Data Warehouse or Data Lake as a Big Data Lead.
