Designation | BI Developer Qualification | B.E. B.Tech Experience (in years) | 3 Job Description | Role Summary Support SAP BW/HANA operations, data monitoring, testing, reconciliation and user issue resolution for OPM. The role will build working knowledge of the inherited solution through structured KT and help maintain reliable daily data availability and reporting support. Key Responsibilities • Monitor process chains, data loads, background jobs and interfaces; identify failures and coordinate timely recovery. • Perform first-level analysis of incidents and service requests involving data loads, authorizations, reporting, extracts and data discrepancies. • Execute data reconciliation, regression testing, release validation and production sanity checks. • Support month-end, year-end, planned downtime, housekeeping and scheduled release activities as required. • Maintain runbooks, issue logs, KT notes, test evidence, support checklists and knowledge articles. • Assist developers with defect reproduction, data validation, transport verification and business-user testing. • Track tickets against SLAs, provide clear status updates and escalate recurring or high-impact issues. • Participate in KT, reverse KT and shadow support until operational tasks can be completed independently. Required Technical Skills • Working knowledge of SAP BW 7.5 on HANA, process chains, DTPs, transformations, ADSOs, extractors and data-load monitoring. • BW ABAP debugging and SQL skills. • Incident management, troubleshooting, testing and data reconciliation. • Analysis for Office or BEx reporting and user support. • Clear documentation, analytical thinking and stakeholder communication. Skill Set Required | Required Technical Skills • SAP BW 7.5 on HANA data modeling, ETL and reporting. • BW-related ABAP, routines, debugging and AMDP. • HANA modeling, Calculation Views, SQL and performance optimization. • Standard and custom extractors, delta queues, process chains and data reconciliation. • Analysis for Office or BEx query development and support. c) Analysis for Office d) Performance Tuning e) Troubleshooting
