You’ll play a critical role in identifying gaps, streamlining processes, and ensuring both departments run in synergy like an international MNC. You will need to be a dynamic all-rounder with experience in treasury (investments), accounting, and have the ability to use software such as Mprofit and Tally. Key Responsibilities: · Be a crucial addition to the finance and investment team, identifying and fixing any gaps as a team player with proactive initiative — ensuring maker-checker controls between departments. · Ensure Mprofit and Tally reconciliations are completed and provide solutions to issues if any arise. · Be proactive and monitor the team’s productivity, identify gaps wherever applicable, and take ownership of improving overall team effectiveness. · Take responsibility for reviewing end-to-end accounting operations for quality, efficiency, and smoothness, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, ledgers, statutory compliance, and the closing of books, ensuring timely finalisation of accounts. · Analyse workflows with the team to understand what is pending, where delays are occurring, and why tasks are not completed on time. Take proactive initiative, provide leadership, and enhance efficiency. · Develop tracking mechanisms to ensure financial and operational transparency on a real-time basis. · Be a good team player with no ego, and support and motivate the team to perform at their best. · Evaluate existing accounting processes in both departments and introduce systems or automation to improve accuracy and efficiency. · Act as the point of contact for internal leadership and external auditors. · Review our treasury systems and identify new and innovative ways to maintain live, transparent tracking. · Prepare and present periodic findings from both departments, along with insights and performance summaries, to the family/promoter. Qualifications & Experience: • CA • 10+ years of progressive accounting and investment experience, ideally across group companies or multi-entity environments. • Prior experience in a family office or promoter-driven setup is a plus. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and statutory requirements. • Proficient with accounting software (Tally, ERP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel. • Experience with Mprofit Soft Skills & Attributes: • High attention to detail and accountability. • Strong analytical thinking and a proactive problem-solving approach. • Ability to balance hands-on involvement with strategic oversight. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Resilient, with a solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment. • No ego. • Supportive leadership qualities. • Proactive and show initiative. • No complaining. • Take accountability and responsibility. • Don’t say “This is not my job.” • Innovative and dynamic personality. • Modern, open-minded thinking. • Welcoming of change and new systems.
