The Sales & Marketing Executive/Manager will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and promoting vacuum heat treatment services to OEMs, automotive, aerospace, tool manufacturing, and engineering companies. The role involves technical understanding of heat treatment processes, customer coordination, quotation preparation, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development Identify and develop new customers in automotive, aerospace, tool & die, medical, defense, and engineering sectors. Visit customer sites to understand requirements and promote company capabilities. Generate leads through market research, industry networking, and cold calls. 2. Sales & Customer Coordination Understand customer drawings, materials, and treatment requirements. Coordinate with production/technical team for feasibility and cycle planning. Prepare and follow up on quotations, pricing, and negotiations. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business. 3. Marketing Activities Promote heat treatment services through digital marketing, industry exhibitions, and technical presentations. Prepare marketing materials – brochures, social media posts, customer case studies. Monitor competitor activities and suggest market strategies. 4. Technical Knowledge (Preferred)Basic understanding of vacuum heat treatment processes like: Hardening & Tempering Solution Treatment & Ageing Vacuum Annealing Nitriding / Plasma Nitriding (if applicable) Knowledge of materials, tool steels, HSS, stainless steel, and alloy steels. 5. Reporting & Administration Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. Maintain CRM/customer data. Track inquiries, conversions, and revenue achievements. Required Skills Strong communication and presentation skills. Technical aptitude (basic understanding of metallurgy or mechanical engineering). Negotiation and customer relationship skills. Ability to meet sales targets and work independently. Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication. Qualification Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgy preferred. MBA in Marketing (optional but an advantage). Experience in heat treatment/thermal processing industry is a strong plus. The ideal candidate will operate machines, assemble components, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure smooth production flow while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate production machines and equipment as per instructions. Assemble electrical or mechanical components based on drawings and specifications. Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities to supervisors. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments to equipment. Conduct quality checks on finished products using tools such as calipers, multimeters, gauges, etc. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the work area. Follow production schedules and meet daily targets. Record production data and report any issues in a timely manner. Assist maintenance team during machine repairs or preventive maintenance.
