Position Overview: A Senior Optometrist is responsible for providing high-quality eye care services, including vision testing, diagnosing eye conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses. They also mentor junior optometrists, ensure compliance with clinical protocols, and contribute to the overall success of the eye care department. Key Responsibilities: 1. Clinical Duties: Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests. Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
