Job Title: SDET Engineer Service Virtualization (Broadcom DevTest) Location: Pune, India Client: MNC (Name Confidential) Experience: 6 to 10 years Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview We are hiring an experienced SDET Engineer with a specialized background in API testing and mocking using Broadcom DevTest (formerly CA Lisa) . The ideal candidate should have strong experience in service virtualization and API simulationnot from the OS virtualization side. You will play a critical role in testing microservices-based applications and ensuring service reliability in cloud environments. Key Responsibilities API Mocking & Service Virtualization: Design and implement virtual services for APIs using Broadcom DevTest. Automation Testing: Develop and maintain robust automated test cases for APIs and backend services. Test Framework Ownership: Maintain and enhance test frameworks using Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and Java. Integration with CI/CD Pipelines: Ensure seamless test integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Manual & Exploratory Testing: Perform high-quality manual testing to supplement automation and identify edge-case scenarios. Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software with a test-first mindset. Defect Lifecycle Management: Log, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA; ensure quick turnaround on resolutions. Test Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, scripts, and results for internal and client use. Required Skills 6–10 years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles. Strong hands-on expertise in Broadcom DevTest/CA Lisa for API mocking and service virtualization. Solid understanding of RESTful API testing using Rest Assured , Selenium , Cucumber , and TestNG . Proficient in Java , Maven , Git , and test execution within CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of microservices architecture and Azure cloud hosting. Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology and collaborative team environments. Important: Candidates must have hands-on experience in API mocking/virtualization , not OS-level virtualization (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox). Preferred Qualifications ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification. Domain experience in BFSI, telecom, insurance, or electric vehicles is a plus.
