Job Purpose:To ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable safety regulations, company HSE policies, and client requirements, thereby minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on site. Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor the site-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plan. Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions; ensure corrective actions are taken. Promote safety awareness among workers and subcontractors through toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions. Ensure compliance with local laws, company policies, and international safety standards (ISO 45001, OSHA, etc.). Investigate and report incidents, accidents, near misses, and recommend preventive measures. Prepare and maintain HSE documentation — including risk assessments, safety reports, permits, and inspection checklists. Monitor and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Support management in conducting safety audits and drills. Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies regarding site safety matters. Participate in project risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and ensure safety requirements are incorporated.
