About the Role: As an HLC Engineer at BEUMER Group, you will be responsible for system testing, and technical operations related to the High-Level Control (HLC) system of airport Baggage Handling Systems (BHS). The role involves both development and on-site commissioning, ensuring smooth system operation, high availability, and adherence to cybersecurity and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:- Software Development & Testing Participate in the SUPPORT OF software lifecycle, including analysis, requirement specification, and testing. Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate closely with product owners, project managers, and system architects to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. Provide 2nd-level support for software and system issues. System Operations & Maintenance Monitor and ensure the HLC system operates at optimal levels with maximum uptime. Manage and coordinate with BHS Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for system performance and issue resolution. Diagnose and resolve network and software issues efficiently to prevent recurrence. Oversee system upgrades, including End-of-Service (EOS) and End-of-Life (EOL) software/hardware replacements. Lead or support trials, projects, and improvements in HLC systems using new technologies. Cybersecurity & Compliance Ensure the HLC system complies with cybersecurity and data protection standards. Maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and Critical IT Infrastructure (CII) regulations, including periodic vulnerability assessments. Project & Stakeholder Coordination Participate in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning activities.
