Position: Quantity Manager Location: Dubai, UAE Candidate Preference: Indian National Industry: Construction / Contracting / Infrastructure / Civil Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview The Quantity Manager will lead all quantity surveying, cost control, estimation, and contract administration activities for ongoing and upcoming construction projects. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of UAE construction standards, and the ability to manage QS teams while ensuring cost efficiency and contractual compliance. Key Responsibilities 1. Cost Management & Estimation Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs (MTOs). Review project designs to identify cost risks, variations, and value-engineering opportunities. Provide accurate project cost forecasting and cash flow projections. 2. Quantity Surveying & Measurement Conduct detailed quantity measurements based on drawings and site conditions. Verify subcontractor quantities, claims, and invoices. Maintain updated measurement sheets and ensure alignment with project changes. 3. Contracts & Commercial Management Manage contract documents, tender packages, and subcontract agreements. Prepare claims, EOT submissions, variation orders, and commercial correspondence. Ensure compliance with FIDIC and UAE construction laws. 4. Project Coordination Work closely with project teams to ensure cost and contract alignment. Attend client meetings and progress reviews. Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for approvals. 5. Reporting & Documentation Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports and cost summaries. Maintain documentation for audits and final account submissions. Support management in budget planning. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Minimum 5+ years of QS/Cost Management experience (UAE preferred). Knowledge of UAE market rates and construction standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, CostX, Primavera. Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Attributes Experience with UAE clients (RTA, Emaar, Nakheel, DAMAC, etc.). Ability to lead QS teams and manage large projects. Strong problem-solving abilities.
