Job Description: VDI Engineer Location: BEL Bangalore / Ghaziabad Department: IT Infrastructure Experience: Minimum 3 years to 7 years (VDI Administration) Budget - 10 LPA 1. Qualification & Experience Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or IT. Certification: VMware/Omnissa Certified Professional (preferred). Experience: 3+ years in VMware/Omnissa VDI administration. Training: Formal training in relevant software components. Note: Requirements may be relaxed for engineers with prior BEL onsite VDI experience. 2. Key Responsibilities Administer and monitor vCenter, ESXi, vSAN , and VMware Horizon environments. Perform upgrades, patching, and certificate/license management. Create/manage VMs, templates, snapshots, and Horizon Pools. Troubleshoot VDI, network, and end-user issues via ITSM tools. Maintain security compliance , address VAPT vulnerabilities , and manage DEM profiles . Support DR site maintenance and conduct periodic DR drills . 3. Skills & Attributes Strong knowledge of VMware Horizon, vSphere, vSAN, and Windows/Linux . Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and VDI troubleshooting . Excellent analytical, coordination, and documentation skills. Familiarity with automation, scripting, and Power BI reporting preferred
