Job Title: Infrastructure & Performance Test Engineer/ Devops QA Location: Hyderabad Onsite shift time 6PM-2AM IST Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure & Performance Test Engineer to design, execute, and optimize load, stress, and distributed testing strategies across cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in HTTP/HTTPS traffic analysis, monitoring tools, and reporting, with a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure and performance at scale. Key Responsibilities • Plan and conduct Load Testing, Stress Testing, and Distributed Load Testing to simulate real-world traffic patterns. • Create and manage test datasets to support accurate simulations and validations. • Monitor and analyze HTTP/HTTPS calls and system metrics (CPU, memory, IOPS, network) during test execution. • Use tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust for performance testing. • Automate end-to-end test cases using Selenium for UI validation when required. • Collect and analyze performance metrics; generate actionable reports and insights. • Collaborate with DevOps to test upgrades and infrastructure changes — ensuring no degradation in requests per second or latency. • Utilize AWS services (CloudWatch, EC2, ELB, RDS, etc.) for monitoring and test environment setup. • Identify bottlenecks and recommend system improvements before major releases. Required Skills 3–5+ years in performance/infrastructure testing or DevOps QA. Proficiency with load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6). Familiarity with Selenium for UI test automation. Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and API testing. Experience in AWS infrastructure and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, etc.). Experience with distributed test execution and parallel load generation. Experience in checking Latency and response time Strong skills in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar). Preferred Experience in continuous integration environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
