About the Role We are seeking passionate and motivated Junior AI Engineers tojoin our BCS Technology AI Centre of Excellence in Nairobi. This isan entry-level role designed for recent graduates who have a solidfoundation in Python programming and Jac programming with a strong interest inartificial intelligence, data science, and automation. As part of our global team, you will work alongside seniorengineers and AI specialists from across BCSinternational network,contributing to innovative projects spanning industries such as aviation,banking, retail, and government . You will gain hands-on experience inbuilding and deploying real-world AI solutions that drive digitaltransformation for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities Support the design, training, and deployment of AI and machine learning models. Write clean, efficient Python code for data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation. Assist in developing automation and conversational AI components (e.g., chatbots, agentic AI workflows). Work with data engineers to collect and prepare structured and unstructured data. Contribute to the documentation, testing, and optimisation of AI models. Research and experiment with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and open-source technologies. Collaborate within agile project teams under the guidance of senior AI engineers and project leads. Requirements Qualifications Bachelordegree (or recent graduate) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline. Proficient in Python programming and Jac P rogramming with good understanding of data structures and algorithms. Familiarity with common AI/ML libraries Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (classification, regression, NLP, etc.). Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Need to of completed or soon to have completed the Generative AI Course in OUK taught by BCS Technology
