Job Title: Head Cook / Production Head – Base Kitchen Location: Indirapuram, Ghaziabad Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a skilled and reliable Head Cook/Production Head to manage our base kitchen where we prepare semi-finished and pre-prepped items for our company-owned and franchise outlets across NCR. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of recipe preparation, kitchen management, and team supervision. Key Responsibilities Prepare all base recipes, including sauces, marinated chicken, gravies, pre-prep items, and more as per standard recipes. Ensure quality, consistency, and taste of all items prepared in the base kitchen. Supervise and train kitchen staff in recipe preparation, hygiene, and production processes. Maintain production schedules to meet daily requirement of all outlets. Check inventory, manage raw materials, and coordinate timely procurement with the management. Implement proper storage, labeling, and FIFO methods. Ensure the kitchen follows FSSAI, hygiene, and cleanliness standards. Maintain daily production sheets, wastage logs, and stock reports. Work closely with management to maintain cost efficiency and minimize wastage. Ensure timely dispatch of prepared items to all outlets. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2–4 years experience as a cook, commis, or production head. Strong understanding of Indian/Continental base recipes, marination techniques, and production workflows. Ability to manage a small team and handle a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs. Must be reliable, hardworking, and committed to consistency.
