Company Description Bark India Charitable Trust is a non-profit NGO dedicated to animal welfare, alongside human and environmental welfare initiatives. Based in Puducherry, the trust rescues injured and sick animals from the streets, providing them with comprehensive medical care in our well-established veterinary hospital. Our team vaccinates and sterilizes the animals before returning them to their original habitats and works to find adoptive families for those in need. We rely entirely on donors and public support to carry out our mission. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Nurse located in Puducherry. The Veterinary Nurse will be responsible for providing veterinary nursing care, assisting with medical treatments, administering anesthesia, caring for pets, and performing laboratory tasks. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient health, preparing animals for surgery, and supporting veterinarians in all aspects of animal care. Qualifications Veterinary Nursing and Animal Care skills Compassion for animals and commitment to animal welfare Relevant certifications in veterinary nursing or animal care Previous experience in a veterinary setting is desirable
