Role Overview: As a Barista at the caf in Ambernath, your role is crucial in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment - Take customer orders accurately and handle transactions efficiently - Provide friendly and efficient customer service - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including the coffee bar and seating area - Follow food safety and hygiene standards - Stock and replenish supplies as needed - Educate customers on menu items, brewing techniques, and coffee origins - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations - Address customer complaints or special requests professionally Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred - Knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing techniques (training provided if necessary) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills - Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights - Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays If you are passionate about coffee and enjoy interacting with people, you are invited to join the team.
