Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate - Audit and Tax at Bala & Co., Chartered Accountants. The role is based in Chennai but allows for some work from home flexibility. As an Associate, you will be responsible for conducting audits, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and assisting in tax preparation. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating findings with clients and team members. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in analysing financial data Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Background or experience in Finance and understanding of Financial Statements Excellent knowledge of GST is Required / Mandatory Experience in Auditing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations Knowledge of Accounting & Auditing Standards Tech Savvy - ability to use various tools like ChatGPT, Winman, Tally, Zoho Projects would be an advantage Professional certifications such as CA Final / CMA Final are a plus High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Show more Show less
