Backend Engineer - Search

As a Data Pipeline Engineer at Atomicwork, you will play a crucial role in designing, constructing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support enterprise search capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines for enterprise search applications - Implementing data ingestion processes from various sources - Developing data transformation and enrichment processes - Integrating with search platforms such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch - Ensuring data quality and integrity - Monitoring pipeline performance - Collaborating with cross-functional teams - Implementing security measures - Documenting pipeline architecture, processes, and best practices - Staying updated with industry trends in data engineering and enterprise search To excel in this role, proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala is essential. Experience with data pipeline frameworks such as Apache Airflow and tools like Apache NiFi is highly valued. Familiarity with search platforms and knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, and indexing processes are crucial. Additionally, a strong understanding of enterprise search concepts, data security best practices, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is required. Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) would be advantageous.
