Backend Engineer - (Node.js & DevOps ) Specialist

You will be joining a dynamic consulting company based in Mangalore, Karnataka, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional solutions for clients and developing innovative products. As a valuable member of our small yet impactful team, you will contribute significantly to our success story. Your responsibilities will include leading the backend architecture by designing and developing robust systems using Node.js/Express.js, alongside maintaining existing Java applications. You will also be tasked with managing the cloud infrastructure, handling deployments, and DevOps operations across Azure and AWS platforms. Spearheading the technology migration from Java backend to Node.js/Express.js ecosystem will be a key focus area. Furthermore, you will work on database management with PostgreSQL databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity. Implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation for streamlined development workflows will also fall under your purview. Your role will involve close collaboration with frontend developers and project teams to deliver seamless solutions. To excel in this role, you should possess 2-3 years of backend development experience, a strong foundation in Java backend development, expertise in Node.js/Express.js, a deep understanding of PostgreSQL, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and AWS services, knowledge of CI/CD pipeline management, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, a passion for modern tech stacks and best practices, and the willingness to relocate to Mangalore. The technical stack you will work with includes Java, PostgreSQL, Azure DevOps, AWS in the current scenario, with a transition planned towards Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, Azure, and AWS in the future. You will also be involved in managing CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud deployments, and monitoring tools as part of the DevOps process.
