Job Responsibilities:

As a Back-end Developer at Drip Capital, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining micro-services that provide time-sensitive capital to customers worldwide.
• Collaborating closely with product managers to understand customer requirements and define technical solutions.
• Developing risk modules to adapt to individual and market variations.
• Creating and enhancing workflow automation.
• Debugging issues across services and multiple levels of the technology stack.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in building low-latency, distributed systems that are scalable and reliable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with at least one MVC framework used for back-end development, such as Ruby on Rails, Spring, Code Igniter, etc.
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), with the ability to write optimized SQL queries and understand indexing, schema design, and query performance.
• Experience in designing and building APIs, including RESTful APIs or GraphQL, with good understanding of versioning, pagination, authentication, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of software architecture fundamentals, including object-oriented design, abstractions, and system design.
• Passion for building well-engineered, reusable back-end components with high-quality code.
