Role OverviewAs a Back-End Developer, you’ll help architect and build the systems, APIs, and infrastructure that power our platform. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to deliver scalable, reliable services that drive real-time simulation, content management, user tracking, and risk analysis. What You’ll DoDevelop and maintain APIs and backend services using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF)Design and implement scalable systems for simulations, user management, controls, and reportingCollaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs and data flowsOptimize backend performance, security, and maintainabilityParticipate in technical planning, code reviews, and QA cyclesMaintain documentation and help evolve our backend architecture as the platform scalesWork on-site with our core engineering team in Chennai What We’re Looking ForStrong proficiency in Python and back-end development fundamentalsExperience with Django, DRF, and RESTful API designUnderstanding of database design, ORM, and performance optimizationAbility to write clean, scalable, and well-tested codeFamiliarity with version control (Git), deployment pipelines, and security best practicesStrong problem-solving skills and structured thinkingBased in Chennai and ready to work from our office full-time Bonus Points If You Have:Experience with PostgreSQL, Celery, Redis, or similar toolsExposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, logging/monitoring stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Sentry)Interest in cybersecurity, simulations, or threat modelingUsed or integrated LLM-based or AI-enhanced back-end features Why Work With UsBuild backend systems that directly power real-world cyber defense simulationsCollaborate with a tight-knit, mission-focused team building from scratchWork on a critical product with real enterprise impactBe part of a culture that values experimentation, quality, and deep learning
