B2B Sales Manager (Ed - Tech Preferred) Position Title: B2B Sales Manager Location: Bangalore (Work-from-office role) Overview We are seeking a results-driven and strategic B2B Sales Manager to lead our efforts in establishing and nurturing partnerships with schools to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, experience in collaborating with educational institutions, and a deep understanding of how to create value propositions tailored to the education sector. This role is essential in expanding our presence in the education market and establishing long-term relationships with schools that will drive business growth. Key Responsibilities B2B Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue through partnerships and collaborations with schools. Identify new business opportunities within the education sector, focusing on high-value partnerships and long-term collaborations. Work closely with internal teams to create compelling value propositions that align with the unique needs of schools and educational institutions. Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team, developing their skills in relationship-building and sales techniques specific to the education sector. Set clear objectives for the team and monitor performance through key metrics and KPIs. Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with school administrators, decision-makers, and other educational stakeholders to ensure successful sales initiatives. Collaborate with schools to understand their needs, challenges, and priorities, offering tailored solutions that drive value and satisfaction. Negotiate contracts and agreements with schools, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions. Revenue Growth: Drive significant revenue growth by securing new business opportunities with schools and educational organizations. Develop and execute strategies for upselling and cross-selling within existing school partnerships. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align sales initiatives with company offerings and ensure smooth implementation of school collaborations. Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product improvements and customer experience strategies. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor, track, and report on sales performance against targets, ensuring that business goals are met. Use data-driven insights to optimize the sales strategy and make informed decisions that maximize revenue growth. Qualifications Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on partnerships, collaborations, or business development in the education sector. Proven track record of driving revenue growth through B2B partnerships with schools. Experience leading and managing a sales team, with the ability to motivate, coach, and drive results. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to influence and build relationships with school decision-makers. Deep understanding of the education sector, including trends, challenges, and opportunities for revenue generation. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to execute sales strategies and achieve targets.
